Suggest Methods To Stop Popping Joints In Sleep

I wake up all night with my arms up in the air and trying to pop all the joints in my fingers, hands, and arms. I have multiple problems due to a medication reaction several years back. I have stomach issues, fibromyalgia, thyroid issues, and multiple symptoms that don t fit anywhere. I periodically get abnormal results on Ra panels of bloodwork, but they are unresolved as to cause. After sleeping with arms in air and forcibly popping joints in my sleep, my hand and arms are stiff and in extreme pain the next morning. Any clues as to why I do this or how to stop it?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to carpal tunnel syndrome. For this reason, I recommend performing nerve conduction studies and checking uric acid plasma levels.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
