Suggest Methods To Control Sugar

i am a diabetic since 1988 now a days i am takeing insuline mixtard pen fill 30/70 twice a day 15 unit each time,now my age is 55years,height is 5.4feet and weight is 70kgs.uptill now I dont have any problem all tests are ok except high blood sugar fasting is 150 to 200 and random is between 300 to 350,kindlt advise me what I have to do to control my sugar.

Hi,
Thanks for your question,
What you have mentioned,your diabetes is at fairly higher side and your on insulin therapy,
Along with insulin you have to restrict your diet,eat less caloric food ,increase frequency of having food but eat less at a time,include salads in diet,
Most important is strict exercise everyday,
Walking ,jogging,swimming anything but everyday,
And you will need more dose of insulin,do your blood sugar level test again along with glycosalate HB(hba1c) it shows your control over 3 month period,and
Consult diabetologist
