Suggest Medications For Nausea & Vomitting

My daughter is 18 years old and has been nauseated and vomiting since last Wednesday. I brought her to a GI doctor yesterday. She prescribed Phenergan suppositories, however she is still nauseated and feels like she needs to vomit and soon as she eats or drinks something. I m really concerned. Should I bring her to the emergency room?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
There is nausea and vomiting .
The cause of these symptoms may be hyper acidity or gastritis . When such patient visit in my clinic I usually advise them at once intravenous dextrose with 1-2 bottle of Ringer Lactate solution with ranitidine injection .
Some patient refuse for intravenous I give them antacid ( prescribe if contains oxytacaine good ) .I also advise them to take proton pump inhibitors like Pantaloc-D 2-3 times in day .
Within 2-3 days patient become alright . Ondansetrone ( mouth dissolving tablets ) are also good according to need .
In my opinion consult one more primary care physician and get his opinion ( 2nd) .
Good luck.
