Suggest Medication To Postpone Next Periods

I am 48 years old and still get a period every 21 to 26 days. I am going on a special vacation in 26 days and just started my cycle today. I would like to know if there is anything I can take to delay my next period as it seems it will most likely start just before my vacation or just as I start my vacation.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you used oral contraception, then start the other pack without the normal 7 day break.

If you are not currently using oral contraception then there are other options.
Norethisterone is used to delay periods. It is normally started 3 to 4 days before the period is due and can be continued up to 2 weeks. The period would normally start 2 to 3 days after it is discontinued.

Your doctor can provide you with a prescription.

I hope this helps
