Suggest Medication For Severe Disc Enlargement On C5/C6

My MRI results show moderate to severe disc enlargement (C5/C6) -- I have no real neck pain but have been struggling with tingling sensation in left arm (forearm and hand). The tingling has been ongoing for approx one year but would only happen while driving my car. Has worsened however in last 3 months to point where can only reduce by tilting head forward if sitting or standing, or laying flat with head slightly elevated. I have been doing physical therapy (traction) for 8 weeks. Should I continue with traction, or, after 7 weeks with no real improvement enough to say stop, and go to see a neuro surgeon / ortho surgeon? Thanks for you help.

PS, I am 49 years old, 5'11", 160 pounds.
