Suggest Medication For Pimples And Broken Blood Vessels

For treating small little pimples and broken blood vessels / rosacea - do you prefer Oracea or spirolactone? I have used Spirolactone in the past and felt my skin improve, however the second I go off of it, my skin flares up. I also had issues with spotting and feeling a bit emotional only at 25 mg per day.

Hello,

Spironolactone is acting as a potassium-sparing diuretic, and it may also act as an anti-androgenic effect by decrease peripheral concretion of estrogens to testosterone. So this effect may be useful to prevent pimples formation. But it may cause hyperkalemia and gynecomastia in males. Please consult your dermatologist before taking this drug.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
