Suggest Medication For Migraine

Hey, ive got a massive headache since past 3/4 days it wont go away my nose gets blocked sometimes at night but that aint too bad, but the headache is really bad, i went to the docters he says its migraines, but didnt give me any medication he just said to take ibrofen! what should i do?

Ibuprofen can be taken to treat acute migraine headache.
it is to be taken on when required basis and not on regular basis.
If you are suffering from frequent migraine then you should consider taking preventive medicine such as propranolol/ flunarezine/ newer antiepileptic such as topiramate/ sodium valproate. It is also important that you identify the triggers and avoid them .
