Suggest Medication For Controlling High Blood Pressure

Hello. Am Deb from India with 50 yrs age and BP 150/90. Taking medicine coversil 4.0 and Nebicard 5.0. Non smoker and hard drink. computer professional. Need help to make BP 130/80. Take less spicy food. Some times take tonac TG when Cholesterol increases. but not always.

Dear Sir
Thanks for writing to us.
A combination of beta-blocker with ACE inhibitor, as you are taking, is not great for high blood pressure. I use CCBs more often with ACEI for my patients. You should avoid alcohol. Must control salt intake, do meditation , control weight and exercise actively.
