Suggest Medication For Chronic Prostatitis
I ve been prescribed trimethoprim 200mg twice a day for 6 weeks to treat e-coli infection. I ve been diagnosed with chronic prostatitis. I m allergic to sulphur hennce need to know the brand name for this tablet with just trimethoprim 200mg. Please advise

* As per my surgical experience, there are always issues with trimethoprim in cases where there is sensitivity with the sulfa group.
* As per the culture report of the urine, it is recommended for a better alternative as doxycycline or macrolides as per the choice of the physician with best efficacious results in chronic prostatitis condition.
