I AM A 56 YRS.OLD DIABETIC & CABG DONE (1998)PATIENT.
LAST WEEK MILRON I.V DONE FOR 24 HRS.
CREATININE - 2.1,BUN-29,RANDOM BLOOD SUGAR-249,HGB-11.9,RED BLOOD CELLS - 3.75,SODIUM-136,POTTASSIUM - 4.3 AND ESR - 22.PL.ADVICE VEG FOODS/MEDICATION TO INCREASE HGB AND KEEP OTHER PARAMETERES UNDER CONTROL

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Your following parameters are altered.
1. High creatinine
2. High sugar
3. Slightly lower hemoglobin

So dietary advice for high creatinine
1. Avoid fruit, fruit juices, coconut water etc.
2. Avoid too much salt in food.
3. Drink 1.5 to 2 liters of fluid.

For high sugar
1. Avoid sweet, oily, fatty food.
2. Avoid rice, potato, fruits like apple, banana, grapes etc.
3. Go for walk after meals.
4. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent
small meals.
5. Start antidiabetic drugs to control sugar.

For slightly low hemoglobin
1. Start green leafy vegetables, jaggery etc.
2. Start oral iron supplement.
