Suggest Management Of Craniosynostosis

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My son had a slight case of craniosynostosis as an infant. The top of his head fused slightly faster than normal. He has no signs of any problem - quite the opposite. He is ten years old now and has only grown 3/4 inch in the last 14 months. Should I be worried?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

It all depends on the mid-parental height and history of late blooming in the parents.
I suggest you get back to use with the heights of both parents in centimeters and also his current height so that I can guide you better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sumanth Amperayani, Pediatrician, Pulmonology
