Suggest Home Remedies To Terminate Unwanted Pregnancy

Im 1month pregnant now . I dont want tp continue this bec im a single parent of already two kids the guy that got me pregnant now he said he had nothing to do on the baby and he want me to abort it . Im so stress and scared at the same time i am not ready for another baby. Please doctor help me and give me some home remedies for abortion as i cant afford to buy medicine and doctorS. Hi,

Sorry to say that no home remedies can cause successful pregnancy. Mifepristone followed by Misoprostol (prescribed medicine) is safe and effective way to abort intrauterine pregnancy. It should be used under guidance of gynecologist after confirming intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan.

It can be used under advise of local health practitioner that will help you in emergency Do not use abortion medicine at home as self medication as it cause serious complication like excessive bleeding, incomplete abortion and abnormal development of fetus that require immediate attention and surgery.

By method, Mifepristone orally should be followed by Misoprsotol vaginally by gynecologist. Dose and schedule can be altered by gynecologist. If it does not induce bleeding then extra dose should be given. Abortion process will complete in 4 to 5 days.

Post abortion advises:

- Follow up visit at 7th day, USG scan at 14th day: to confirm completeness process of abortion

- Rest for 48 hours, antibiotic and analgesic, maintain proper pelvic hygiene, eat healthy diet with iron supplements.

Use safe sex practice in future (condom and I pill) to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
