Suggest Burning Sensation In Anus After Bowel Movement
For the last two days, I was suffering from loose motion and the doctor gave me tablets, now loose motion is stopped, however there is a burning sensation in anus. After going to toilet, this burning sensation lasts for 30 minutes and I am finding difficult to sit in chair.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that burning sensation in anus along with a recent history of having loose motions can be due to irritation and inflammation in the lining of the anal canal due to frequent stools.. Due to inflammation every time you pass stools it causes burning sensation..
Other causes can be formation of anal fissure that is a tear in the lining of anal canal while can also be due to hemorrhoids or piles..
As of now you can start doing sitz bath that is sitting in a tub of warm water after bowels.. You can do anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
In case if there is no improvement consult a Proctologist and get evaluated an a clinical examination and investigations like Anoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
