Hi,>My name is Rajendra and would like to know if there is any treatment for Lips which got burnt by crackers.My lips were burnt by diwali crackers and have remained dark, not whole of lips are dark only the out part are dark in colour. It is similar to smoker’s lips. People often ask me do I suffer from any skin disease or do I smoke (I am actually a teetotaler). It really embarrasses me.My nose, eyebrows and eye lashes were burnt along with the lips. Unfortunately everything except the lips are in correct order.Last year, I had even consulted a doctor and he suggested me that it may not be possible to regain that pink color for lips as there is no pigmentation.He suggested me against going for any surgery as it may not be effective for me. Also he said the laser treatment is a waste thing as you may not get the results. Frankly speaking he was straight forward and also told me not to get fooled by clinics that make false promises. This has created confusion now.I don’t want to lose hope as know many new things are coming up in science today, so suggest me if you could help me on this issue.It would be kind enough if you could let me know the best possible ways to cure the darkness of my lips (Give options) and what would be the cost.
