Suggest Alternative Medication For Constipation

Suddenly I have elimination problem: I have a feeling in my rectum that I have to have a bowel movement, but nothing happens. I am able to pass some feces, but only with considerable forcing. I have been taking Miralax nightly for years, but all of sudden it doesnt work anymore. What is happening

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Avoid fast foods like pizza. Have high fiber diet like fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Take Miralax regularly. After this, if there is constipation of more than 7 days after taking Miralax regularly then it is a reason for concern. You should visit your local doctor and have enema for passing stools.
