Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these pains you are experiencing caused by hemorrhoids. Treatment of hemorrhoids consist in controlling the pains and correcting the factor that provoked the flare. Also lifestyle modifications are very important as a component of this treatment plan.

The hydrocortisone should be a cream or suppository for best pain control. Also, some other pain medications like lidocaine creams are good at this. If the pains are not well controlled, other oral medications like tylenol/ibuprofen can be added to the treatment.

Lifestyle modification include increased fiber, avoiding excessive sitting positions, avoid straining during defecation, exercise, etc.

However, if medical treatment should prove ineffective, you may need to be evaluated and considered for a surgical treatment. I will advice that you talk to your doctor for treatment evaluation and possible modifications.

Hi thanks for your question.
Small hemorrhoids means grade 1 hemorrhoids.Grade 1 hemorrhoids can be managed by conservative means like Avoiding meat especially red meat, using high fiber diiet.lot of vegetables and fruits. Some time with medicines are used to avoid constipation and some anti inflammatory and analgesic creams locally. Hydrocortisone is a steroid which is not recommended for heamorrids, that too systemically. It increases the chances of super added infection, which if occur is relatively difficult to treat at this sit and you may need a course of strong antibiotics. Consult a general surgeon who may be able to examine you to determine the degree of haemorrids and may perform small procedure called proctoscopy on you. Surgeon may advise you appropriate treatment depending upon the degree of hemorrids.
Hope this answers your question.
