Suffering From Hair Fall. Undergoing Mesotherapy, Using Fincar, Amenexil Foam. Side Effects Of Medications?
Hi Doctor, I have read your suggestions and articles. I am XXXXX and suffring from hair fall . I am currently undergoing mesotheraphy and my doctor suggested : 1. Fincar 1 mg 2 Androanagen tab 3. Amenexil foam 4. Nutriderm anti hair loss lotion I have read a lot about and afraid of side effects as all websites and blogs suggest about side effects of these medicines. Due to my therapy I see good result in my new hair growth. What do I do? Shall I use these medicines? For how long? Shall I stop. Please help me as I am confused.. Regds

There is nothing wrong in the treatment suggested by your dermatologist. The medicines prescribed are completely safe to use and the side effects mentioned in blogs or articles rarely occur. If in case there is a side effect, it is completely reversible with discontinuation of the drug. As you have mentioned, you are having good result with your treatment, kindly trust your doctor and continue with his treatment as long as he advises. Once you have a good hair growth, mesotherapy can be stopped however you might need to continue with oral and topical medicines for a longer period of time. Take care.

The duration of treatment is still not agreed upon but you have to use those for a couple of years as a withdrawal of the medications would result in hair loss again. Therefore, the best thing to adopt is to continue these as long as no problems occur. If you encounter sexual side effects you would need to stop the medications.
The medications do not cause long term side-effects and these are completely reversible with treatment so you need not worry!
