colour blindness from birth has no permanent cure till date since its a genetic problem and gentic engineering is not possible at present..therefore no medicines also..some branches there is requirement of colour perception like colour of chemical, or calorimetry in which depending on the density of the colour..u have to assess the strength of reaction..since the people in IIT are very intelligent people known for their intelligence ..if they r refusing colourblind students then there would be some logic in their mind..so please accept the truth as it is..and face the challenge..and choose a career..there r so many other available..go in them..
some important advice- avoid designing, colour matching, while driving be careful of signals, don'nt marry a girl ..with family history of colour blindness, after marriage..don'nt keep male son..only female child should be preffered..
u r already very intelligent..which u have proved by qualifying the test..now apply yr intelligence in other branch..with a challenge..nature has given u..and prove it that u r still the best..
