Question: Hi,
My uncle has been suggested for the cataract surgery kindly suggest shall we go for it. Attaching the reports.

Also need to check if he has color blindness and what will be the treatment.

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
There are basically 4 criterion for cataract surgery.
1) How much the patient can see,meaning the loss of vision.
2) level of cataract, hardness of lens.
3) How much is difficulty in daily activities
4) Health of retina.
None of these is shown in the reports sent by you.That is the reason I had advised to have another checkup where these queries will be addressed. The reports sent by you only show what power of lens to be put in and sugar levels and do not give relevent data.
Please get back to me with details given so that I can offer helpful suggestions.
