Sudden Feeling Of Lightheadedness, Vision Change, Excessive Sweating. Reason For Above Symptoms?
Hi, I was at the mall today and felt a sudden sensation of light headed ness, vision changes and sweating clammy skin. I was afraid I would pass out or something so I sat down for a little while. This weird sensation lasted seconds at a time with a duration of less than an hour total. My husband drove me home and I rested all afternoon. I'm just concerned with why I had felt so strange.
This seems a "panic attack" Panic attack can occur because of psychological reason, stress, heart problem etc. But, the way in which you are describing it seems more of psychological basis. In such cases it is quite treatable, n need to worry
But, before coming to such conclusion, you need to do at least ECG and see a internal medicine specialist. If he refers to a psychiatrist, consult
Many people do not have second such attack. If it occurs repeatedly, surely consultation is needed
Hi.. Welcome to HCM.. You might have had low blood sugar levels where you have all the symptoms. Or it could be low blood pressure also.. Get your blood sugar levels checked once.. If you face any situation like this, you just lay on your back so that BP comes to normal levels and take some sugar or chocolates to increase your blood sugar levels.. Nothing to worry.. take care..
