Stress, Headache, Foam In Mouth And Mumbling After Falling From Bike. What Could Be This?
My 49 year old sister has been under a lot of stress she has been C/O a headache x 3 days she hasn't had a medical check up in more than 10 years she is without medical insurance. after a bike ride today she collapsed was briefly unconscious foam was forming in her mouth and she was mumbling then came around and said she is fine? I didn't witness this myself she was with her 18 year old daughter and my other sister. I advised her to take 2 low dose aspirin she is refusing to seek medical help what could this be?
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be due to concussion injury or sub-dural hemorrhage as a result of the head injury. In this condition, there is rupture of the minute blood vessels, the blood from which keeps on accumulating & put compression over the brain leading to the symptoms.
So, kindly consult your Physician & get a complete clinical examination done. Investigations like X ray of skull & CT brain should be done to detect the cause of bleeding. If any active site is found, it should be immediately managed to prevent any further complication.
Wishing her a good health. You can ask me any further queries using the below link: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-polash-sannigrahi/64925 Take care.
