Stomach Bloated Before Period. Had Late Periods. Nipples Darker, Bigger. Pregnancy Test Negative. Reason For Pregnancy Symptoms?

So my stomach was really bloated 2 weeks before I started my period and I was sure I was pregnant. I had ALL the symptoms, I did get my period 4 days late and it was as normal. And it lasted 5 days , however my nipples are still getting darker and bigger. The dark part of my nipples are around them . I took 2 pregnancy test after my second dayof being late for my period and they were nnegative. I just want to know what is going on. Can you tell me??

Usually ovulation will occur in the middle of the cycle.
During the ovulation and in post ovulatory period, due to hormonal effect and stretching of the ovary etc mittlesmerz syndrome can occur.

This syndrome can present with symptoms like pain abdomen, bloating sensation of the abdomen, post ovulatory spotting, breast tenderness etc.
So possibly that may be the cause for your symptoms.
If you are having doubt regarding pregnancy, once go for blood test for pregnancy.
If the test comes negative, the possibility of pregnancy is very less.
