I have a spot on the side of my rib, it looks like a burn, and it itches sometimes. It started out looking like a circle welt but it has changed color now. Its kind of a brownish color. It doesnt hurt. And ive recently been feeling sick, weaker and have had sore joints. Im also 23w pregnant if that would have to do with anything..

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

The "spot" that you are describing is something called "tinea corporis". It is a yeast infection on the skin that is treated with a yeast cream or powder. With regard to feeling sick, weak and joint pain, this should be addressed with your OB/GYN. Perhaps it represents the flu, or perhaps it is related to your pregnancy - I have no way of knowing with limited information in this regard.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
