Solution For White Pasty Substance On The Head?

I have white pasty substance all over my head every 2nd day . If I do no wash it then , it becoms hard and sticks to my scalp. It causes irritation. It then leads to hairfall. This Iis very disturbing. I oil n shampoo every two days. Permanent solution for this ?

Hi,

I can understand your concern for white pasty substance on the head. As per your history it appears to be the problem of "Sebaceous cyst".

Sebaceous cysts are the collection of cheezy material surrounded by a wall. The treatment is by excision of the cyst. During excision if any of the part of cyst or the wall is remaining can cause recurrence and infection in the area.

Accordingly you can go for excision or cauterization of the cyst. Cauterization do help in recurrent situations like this but I think it would be better to take a second opinion from a good surgeon.
