Softball Hit Inner Thigh, Severe Bruising, Feels Knotty Muscle, Walking With Limp

I got a line drive that was moving about 95mph (coed softball) that hit my inner thigh straight on. It has been 5 days since it happened, the bruise goes from the very top of my inner leg down until about 2 inches from my knee and is about as big as two hands with fingers outstretched. Walk with a limp and there is a hard lump where the ball itself hit that feels like a very knotty muscle.

Hello,
The bruise is because of the bleeding under your skin and it's extension towards knee is because of the trickling of the blood downwards under the skin.
Hard lump seems to be due to localised blood collection resulting in a hematoma which is getting organised and thickened.
Chances of bony injury or fracture is minimal since inner thigh is mainly muscles only.
Treament involves local hot FOMENTATION twice a day along with ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for 5-7 days.
Ypu should be all right in next 7-10 days.
Thanks
