Hi
Welcome to HCM

Presence of mucus in stool indicate the presence of an intestinal infection.
However a change in color of stool may be seen on intake of new food articles, fruits etc, which is normal for an infant. Please visit a pediatrician to s get the child examined, a stool test is also suggested.

Thanks & Regards
