Slight Fever With Joint Pain, Tired, Prescribed Ubicar, Calcium. What Could Be The Cause ?

Hi,
I am 34 yr old single lady, recently i am getting slight fever with joint pain. whenver i go to gym and do treadmill, next day my joint pains and i feel feverish. though i can move, go to office n all but feels extremely tired.
I seek dr help, she has prescribed Ubicar and calcium and ask to test TSH and Vit D levels

Hi and thanks for the query,

Fever and joint pain requires that joint or rheumatologic disease be screened for. A past medical and family history could help. History of rheumatoid arthritis or lupus might be required to be known. It s necessary to get a routine HIV test too done. Past history of syphillis or other sexually transmitted disease is important. rare conditions like joint syphillis and reactive arthritis from Chlamydia should be borne in mind.

Screening for rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other common systemic diseases are most urgent under these circumstances. I suggest you book an appointment with a rheumatologist. Thanks and kind regards.
