Should The Eye Strength Be Changed If Far Vision Is Blurry Even With The Contacts?

Without contacts: I can read fine print up close like a book, but far away I cannot see! Extremely blurry!

WITH CONTACTS: My up close vision increases a little but my far away vision is still really blurry and I have to squint to see better!

Both eyes are the same strength! -3.50

Should I go up in strength or down?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having refractive power of -3.5 in both the eyes for which you are using contact lenses.
Since your vision is still blurry even with contact lenses you need to undergo refraction and change the power of the contact lenses appropriately.
Hence I advice you to consult optometrist or ophthalmologist.

Thank you

Ophthalmologist Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash's  Response
You are myopic.Every year the power will change. When you squint you see better means your power has changed. For near vision a separate test is to be done. You should not change yourself.Since myopic you might be having acommodation problem. A separate test is required with contact lens you will have better vision.
