hi... i am a 27-year-old female patient with the SLE since 14 years, pulmonary hypertension since 1-year and under treatment for tuberculosis since 6-months. currently i am under steroid, immunosupressants (MMF), silegra,HCQS,.
tB medication: etambutol and INH.
now the doc has diagnosed with avascular necrosis of hip. with grade 4 in my left hip and grade 3 in my right hip. my immunologist has suggested me for immediate surgery of hip. so i went for other opinion with orthopedisian. He also suggested for surgery, but my vitamin d levels were low. so he suggested me to take vitamin d supplements for 3-months and asked to wait and watch. he was also clear that this not an emergency situation to under go an surgery unless i am able to perform my daily activity with out difficulty. as of now i can walk without any support, but unble to fold my left leg and climbling stairs is difficult. please suggest me what to do.. whether to opt for an surgery immediately or to wait and watch...
thanks in advance for your support
