Should I Go For A Surgery For Pain Over Eye Due To Aerosinusitis?
My son has jut suffered from aerosinusitis or barotrauma of the sinuses clearly seen on an MRI. He has tried steroids, oral (predosone) and sprays antiobiotics and degongestants. It has been over two weeks and he is still in pain over his right eye on his forehead. Should we consider surgury and what are the risks?

Analysing your symptoms, I feel it is better if he undergoes surgery and gets his sinus cleared permanently. Since his symptoms not getting better even after 2 weeks of conservative treatment, surgery would be the best option.
. Surgery recommended is FESS, this surgery has less risks and minimal post op complications.
Risk if expected can be post op bleeding and recurrence, this has to be discussed with the surgeons itself.
