Should I Be Worried About The Loose Bowels After Hysterectomy?

i'm post-op from a hysterectomy almost 2 weeks and I still have loose bowels. My doctor said not to worry and take Imodium but it's not working. I get that familar rumble in the guts and if I don't hurry I make a mess. Should I be worried? I've been eating all the things I should to help bind me, any suggestions?

Hi
There should be no connection between the operation you underwent and loose bowels .I would have advised my patient to under go stool microscopic and culture. Also to rule out psychological stress of loss of main female part the utures. I would have advised my patient to consult a psychistrist or psychologist .Such symptoms I have seen post hysterectomy in reproductive age group females
