My husband was recently in the hospital with multiple blood clots in his lungs and was put on blood thinners. He has been home for a month but is extremely tired. On sunday, we went out to dinner and his hands started shaking for about 10 mins and stopped after he ate some food. Is there anything to worry about?
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. Since he is having Pulmonary embolism, following are the causes for his tremors in hands. 1. Hypoglycemia 2. Vitamin b12 deficiency 3. Hypocalcimia (low calcium level) 4. Hypothyroidism etc. So better to consult doctor and get done sugar estimation, vitamin b12 level, calcium level and thyroid function test. If any abnormality detected than he needs supplements. Don't worry, he will be alright. First diagnose himself and than start appropriate treatment. Hope I have solved your query. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
