Should I Be Worried About The Bleeding After Menopause?

I am post-menepausal for 12 years now. I was put on Activella, then insurance changed me to Mimvey which I have been taking for almost 8 years. In the past 3 months I am still taking Mimvey but I've noticed I bleed for a day or 2 and the blood is almost black.. I was sexually abused for 6 years 11-16 and a in therapy for it now. Can one have anything to do with other. I don't like the gyn and haven't been in 12 years. I'm not active sexually so do I have to go to Doctor?t

Hi,
Post menopausal bleeding should always be reviewed as there are plenty of condition which causes it including neoplastic changes and once it happens it need to be diagnosed earlier n treated according to its stage . It should not be left so late to become untreatble .
So in my opinion visit gyenecology clinic and get a PAPS smear done .

Hope this ll help

Thanks n regards
