Should A Transvaginal Ultrasound Be Done For Delayed Periods?

Hi, I was recently 20 days late for my period then bled for a few days. Now I am having severe abdominal pain and I am extremely tired. I have taken a pee test and blood test and both were negative but I have every pregnancy symptom. What should I do? Go to Eric and get transvaginal ultrasound?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can either get a TVS done or get a serum Beta HCG blood test done. bHCG levels are sensitive and will confirm the status of pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
