Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you are in your safe period during the act, you need not worry at all and no emergency contraception is needed. Please remember that the preejaculate contains enough sperm to cause conception during the fertile period. Hence, if you happen to be in the fertile period during the sexual act, you can go for emergency contraception. This can disturb your normal menstrual cycles, hence use it only once or twice a year only in the real case. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
