Should Oxetol And Sibelium Be Continued For Head Injury Pains?

Hi,
My name is Gopal Chaudhari and my age is 31 years as on now.
I met with serious accident in March 2002 and injury was at my forehead. Doctor removed damaged half forehead bone and used bone cement for leveling in my forehead.
In January 2006 I had some pain in head and after consulting with doctors (Neuron Surgeon) had to undergo surgery and doctors removed bone cement and used my Hip bone for forehead leveling.
In March 2007 felt some pain in head and as per doctors advised since then using Oxetol 300 daily (two tablets per day, 1- in Morning and 1- in Evening). As per doctors advised also using Sibelium for one week when I feel some more pain in head.
Do I need to use these tablets some more years? Should I consult to doctors and ask for more effective medicine?

Pl advice me.

Gopal chaudhari

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
I understand your concern.
You haven't described whether you had any Sub dural hematoma r not. What was your MRI report when you had accident?.You said you had a frontal bone Fracture which occurs only in very serious head injuries.Doctors would have prescribed you T.oxetol 300mg for longterm usage to avoid seizures. You have to continue it.

Thank you
