I keep getting a pain in my chest. In the pipe you swallow food.. Fills like I swallowed a peace of meat and its stuck in my chest. It goes away and comes back. I also have severe heartburn. I'VE HAD TROUBLE WITH MY STOMACH FOR YEARS, BUT THE PAIN IN MY CHEST WORRIES ME. I haven't eaten anything that would of got stuck. Liquids only. Should I be worried?

Greetings of the day

The pain in the chest could possibly be due to oesophageal spasm and is aggravated by acid reflux.

It's still advisable to rule out Ischemic heart disease by getting ECG and stress ECG ad a part of work up before embarking on management of oesophagus and stomach
