Should I Be Concerned For The Hard Knot Which Is Sore Occurred Due To Hitting The Head?
Hi, about two weeks ago I hit my head very hard and got a large bump that was kind of squishy (not a hard knot) the soreness is a lot better but the squishyness is still there although smaller.. I've. Also felt a couple other squishy spots on my head, that I do not remember hitting on anything. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I went through your description. I suggest you not to worry much. Our brain is enclosed with hard skull and tight skin around it. Hair is cushion for blows. Inside the skin we have so many blood vessels which are also ready to take up the shock. When we receive a hit, the shock will be absorbed mostly by the blood vessels and it breaks, resulting in swelling. The body should absorb the swelling within around 48 hours or so. But the pain remain for months even. But it is normal and nothing to worry. If you are in doubt, please consult a physician for further advice.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
