Should I Be Concerned About Valium Withdrawal Symptoms Resembling POTS?

I’m currently tapering off 3 mg prescribed Valium and I have very scary symptoms that are indescribable. One symptom seems like POTS because I get short of breath when standing for more than 10 mins. after a hot shower . Is this normal during benzo tapering/withdrawal? I don’t want to go to my doctor after every crazy symptom, but how do I know what is normal benzo withdrawal vs something that might be a serious health problem. .

Hello,

There is no need to go to the doctor after every withdrawal symptom you experience. Get connected to a detox center so that you can successfully detox yourself while staying comfortable. It means whenever you experience withdrawal symptoms, you will be urgently given medical support and medicines so that you are comfortable.

Withdrawal symptoms during valium detox process causes acute and severe symptoms and sometimes lengthy symptoms that may be carry quite long. About 1-4 days following a person’s last use of Valium, acute withdrawal symptoms need to be managed. Withdrawal symptoms may also include metabolism, emotional and psychological instability that has to be managed along with the other physical symptoms.

People during detox process experience anxiety and depression. You cannot manage it by yourself. Get connected to a local doctor / detox center. After a period of 3-4 days of acute symptoms, the person will tend to experience lengthier withdrawal phase that will continue for 10-14 days. You will need assistance by expert detox staff and health care provider.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
