My doctor has me on metoprolol succ 25mg 3 times aday for the skipping of my heart. I still have it and now I seem to have shortness of breath an some heavyness in my chest too. I told him this when I seen him this week. He has me set to have a ultra sound of my heart Monday to see is I have a blockage. General & Family Physician, Dr. Anuj Dan's Response
Hi, Thank you for posting your question here, I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities.
The pain you are feeling is due to the shortness of breath, so at this time I would recommend that you avoid all kinds of strenuous activity. Once we get the results of your ultrasound, we can prescribe you with proper medication in order to improve your condition.
I hope this answered your question.
