Shortness of breath, cough. History of asthma. Taking light medication. Treatment?

Im 44 years old and have short of breath. They gave me hydrocortison injection like 4 hours back and I took 10mg prednison 5 hours back and ventolin 200 microgran times 2. Still breathing is not ok. Took now myteka. What can I do that breathing will be better? Had problems with astma when I was young. I'm living in Uganda. Short of breath just started like 5.30 hours back. Cough is upper part of chest little down the throat. Have a herbal sirop for that. What is the best to do?
