Sharp Pain Under Rib, Anxiety And Nervousness. Tested For Low WBC And Absolute Monocytes. Suggestion?
B12 low at 183 White Blood Cell low at 3.4 (was 5.3 6 months ago) Total Iron Binding Capacity high at 482 % Transferrin Saturation low at 12 Abosolute Monocytes borderline low at 204 I m always tired. Trouble sleeping. Anxiety/ nervousness . I am a vegetarian. Night sweats . Sharp pains under right rib cage. Eye rash about once a month for past 6 months. 38 year old active female.
hi there, you have not mentioned your hemoglobin level, so cannot say whether you are anemic or borderline with iron deficiency.Both B12 and Iron deficiency suggest that you have nutritional deficiency as well as some kind of a blood loss. Your tiredness can be explained by the anemia.You need to get a thorough health check with complete blood picture, and other parameters.Also get your stool for occult blood, ova and cysts done. Get an x-ray chest and and a routine ultrasound abdomen also done. IN the meanwhile you can start on iron and vit supplimental tablets and include plenty of green leafy vegetables, dates, jaggary, sprouts, wheat germ, legumes etc in your diet. Take care.
