Sexually Abused When Minor, Pains During Intercourse, Bright Red Blood, Bleeding. Suggestions?

I am 18 years old and was sexually abused when I was about 9-11 years. I've recently become sexually active and every time I have intercourse, it hurts and causes soreness and stinging the next day. Last night, we had changed positions and I felt a slight pain for about half a second then turned on the lights to find 3 big spots of bright red blood on my sheets. It has been about 14 hours since then and I am still slightly bleeding. What happened? What can I do to make it stop bleeding?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain and bleeding that you are having even 14 hours after the intercourse is likely to be due to an injury to the area due to a vigorous activity. It is best to get yourself physically examined to find out the cause.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
