Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum

The loss of smell and taste sensation is usually noticed in Allergic rhinosinusitis. Consult a good ENT specialist for a complete evaluation and management.

You will require a course of antibiotics (such as Amox-clav combination or cefuroxime or Levofloxacin or Gemifloxacin), a mucolytic (such as Ambroxol or Bromhexine) and saline and steroid nasal spray. Do steam inhalation 3- 4times/day and drink plenty of warm water.

Wish you good health.

Regards
