Right Knee Hurt, Feels Stiff, Unable To Bend. Should I Be Concerned?

I hurt my right knee 2 hours ago, and I can t bend more it than 90 degrees. I hit it against the side of a stone wall while climbing down from it. It hurt just after, then went away, but since an hour agao, it hurts much more, and I can t bend it, it feels stiff, and I can t walk without having to keep my right leg really straight. Is it serious, what should I do? Thank you

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that there is an abrasion and brusing of tissues after some time. The brusing is restricting your movements of the limb.

There is chance of secondary infection of the swollen tissues. So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an x ray for excluding the possibility of any minor fracture .

Besides i advise you to follow immobilization to make the injury to heal faster.

I wish you fast recovery and thanks for calling.
