Removed Tampon Due To Brown Discharge. Currently Using BV Inserts. What Is Going On ?

I just took my tampon out because I have been having a brown discharge and it had green stuff on it along with the brown . I have had BV for a couple of months now and right now im using the 6 day BV Inserts. So whats going on with me.?? Please help.

The deacription sounds like your infection is still present, during this period it would be best not to insert a tampon as this can lead to stagnation of bacteria and prevent recovery. A panty liner would be more helpful, but please do change your liner or pads more frequently.
