Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Vagina After Tampon Removal

Hello, I am having sharp pains in my lower abdomen and vagina after removing a tampon. This is only my 3rd time using a tampon and so far there has been a slight discomfort while wearing the 2nd and last tampon. I wore the tampon for roughly 6 hours and then started feeling pain, so I switched to a pad. Now the sharp pains are still going on.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. When tampons are used, it is important to see that correct size is used. If there is discrepancy, pain can occur due to stretch and trauma. Please check with your health care provider for any local causes. Else, you can get relief from the pain by using an analgesic and antispasmodic. Do not use tampons and continue with napkins. Hope this helps.
