Remedy For Severe Headaches After Hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy on 12/10/13. ovaries were left in.. I had resulted in hemotomas that ruptured through my abdominal incision. since them my incisision did heal and hemotomas went from 8cm to 3cm now. Though now I am suffering from Anemia, low Iron (17) and a 2.6 wbc count from my bloodwork I got back last week. I am taking a multivitamin for the past 5 years that has iron, and eat tons of leafy greens and some meat. in the past few weeks my headaches are awful, my tongue hurts which is odd, and my energy low. I am not a headachey- person so it s odd. I am seeing a hematologist again on Thursday but looking for some advice on what I may neeed. my hemogloblins are around 11. I still have blood in my urine but it s not coming from vagina, I had a cystomy last month and the blood from from a fistula near bladder. I do not know what to do at this point. Please advise on if you have seen this in the past and what actions to take to get my levels up.

Hello!

Thank you for your question on HCM! I read it carefully and understand your concern.

I think that your headaches may be related to a tension type headache. Your hemoglobin in the lower normal limits and I don't think it is related to the headaches.

Another issue to consider would be your blood pressure. Have you measured it lately? An uncontrolled high blood pressure or a low blood pressure could cause headache and other symptoms.

So I would recommend you to consult with the GP, closely monitor your blood pressure and perform inflammation tests.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Aida
