Redness In Both Eyes, Watery, Sneezing, Swollen Lymph Node. Treatment?
I have redness in both eyes. Eye doctor prescribed steriod and antibotic drops. Almost 2 weeks now. Went back he said keep using steriods, still red eyes. I also have been sneezing a lot and eyes are sometimes watery. I also have one lymph node under arm swollen and one swollen in groin. I just dont know which direction to go. Really worried tho.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Red eyes , watery eyes , sneezing and eyes are not responding to steroid drops and antibiotics i.e. not due to eye infection. All these symptoms which you mentioned in your query may be due to , 1 Allergic bronchitis ( rhinitis ) ,as you may have got some allergy due to allergen . In this condition usually patient develops itching in the eyes , this itching causes redness and water in eyes. Allergy also causes sneezing . 2 This type of eyes infection and redness may be due to local allergy of eyes , so consult an ophthalmologist and get his opinion as physical examination is very important. In my opinion first of all consult a physician and get his opinion for allergy. Good luck. Dr. HET
