Red Spots On Middle Knuckle, Fingers, Turning Purple, Itching Occasionally. Causes And Treatment?

About 3 weeks ago I noticed this slightly red spot appear on my middle knuckle, and then my index finger had 2 very tiny little pimple looking spots. Those have gone away but the one on my middle knuckle has not, occasionally it turns a purplish color, when i press on it the color fades a little. It doesnt hurt and its not really raised, it does itch occasionally though, and its starting to look kind of scaly.

Hello
i would be pleased to answer your question

The information I would be giving you is for your education only and does not necessarily mean that you have these conditions. from your description it is very difficult to pinpoint one straight diagnosis However , I can inform you on the possibilities of the conditions .
These include: Psoriasis, Eczemas, contact dermatitis , starting callous .

You will surely need to see a dermatologist to come to a diagnosis . Till then you can apply a cream called fucicort available at the chemist. Also do apply a lot of moisturizer ( Neutrogena Intensive hand cream)

Thanks and take care
